Jório Albuquerque Veiga Filho

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco – UFPE. Post-graduate degree in Business Economics from the Catholic University of Brasília / Sebrae-AM. STC, Senior Management Training – KelloggSchoolof Management / FDC. Production Management Development Program – Georgia Tech / TCCC. He is an executive with over 35 years of experience in the industrial segment with 28 years of experience in managerial and board positions in a large multinational company in the beverage segment. He has experience in managing multifunctional and multicultural teams, with international operations in the management of factories in Latin America (Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Chile and Argentina). Leading teams of up to 600 employees and managing a budget of U $ 85 million. Extensive experience in implementing and managing new business models, embracing and leading changes in order to achieve better results and adapt the business to the new requirements of the market. He was part of the board of the Center for Industries of the State of Amazonas – CIEAM and of the board of the Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas – FIEAM. Director of the Drinks Union. He has the title of Citizen Amazonian, resulting from actions in the areas of Environment and Social Responsibility.

Currently, he is as secretary secretary at the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation – SEDECTI, which is a member of the direct administration of the Executive Branch of the Government of the State of Amazonas and has the mission of developing the state system of planning and coordinating the public policies of socioeconomic development, science, technology and innovation in Amazonas.
